IV Record Store Day de Murcia_
La gran fiesta de los amantes de la
música en formato físico.
El próximo sábado 16 de abril se celebra en Murcia por cuarto año consecutivo el día
internacional de las tiendas de discos, Record Store Day, en los bajos de la plaza de toros
de La Condomina, Sala Musik. Contará con feria del disco, alternative market, DJs y los
conciertos de Garaje Florida, La Maniobra de Q, Alien Tango y Cherry.
Historia del RSD
El Record Store Day se empezó a celebrar en USA a partir de 2007 como una iniciativa de
que pretendía acercar a los músicos y a las tiendas de discos para festejar la cultura de la
tiendas de discos independientes.
Desde el 2011 comenzó a celebrarse en España y actualmente todas las ciudades cuentan
con actividades para ese día. En Murcia la primera edición se celebró en 2012 por iniciativa
de la desaparecida revista musical Supernaud, actualmente Piso 28.
La enorme acogida de la iniciativa y el impulso en los últimos años de la venta de vinilo ha
llevado a las discográficas a editar rarezas y ediciones limitadas en el formato físico por
antonomasía, el vinilo,, solo durante este día que se celebra el tercer sábado de abril de
cada año.
En Murcia la iniciativa nació bajo el formato de intentar reunir en una jornada a vendedores
de discos, artistas, músicos, Djs y sobre todo a melómanos. Por ello es uno de los eventos
musicales independientes más importe de la primavera.
Feria del disco, alternative market,
conciertos, exposiciones y DJs.
El evento durará de las 10:30h a las 20h y contará con feria del disco donde se reunirán
vendedores de vinilo de Murcia, Alicante y Almería;; mercadillo alternativo con una muestra
de artistas, discográficas, diseñadores y marcas; cuatro conciertos en lo que como en cada
edición se busca representar a las bandas más punteras de la Región y como viene siendo
tradición cuatro Djs en riguroso formato vinilo
Este año el Record Store Day Murcia contará con los directos de Garaje Florida, La
Maniobra de Q, Alien Tango y Cherry.
Bandas
Garaje Florida
Trío murciano antes conocido como El Bueno, el Feo y el Mena que presenta nuevo nombre
y un giro más oscuro a su anterior sonido power pop. Publican “Ser de Plutón” a principios
de 2016 y con solo un concierto de presentación en la ciudad ya están girando por el
territorio nacional. Si ya con la antigua formación eran una de las bandas más punteras de
la Región, con este nuevo revival confirman su sonido psicowave y en español, para que
todos se enteren.
La Maniobra de Q
Son la prueba del renacimiento del shoegaze estatal. Con su primer largo “El daño está
hecho”, se han convertido en una de las bandas prominentes del noise nacional. Inspirados
en bandas como Slowdive o Los Planetas llevan en activo desde 2011 bajo el calor de la
envolvente voz de Ana y David que describen paisajes de sonoridad oscura sin olvidar el
pop de calidad.
Alien Tango
El resurgir de la psicodelía es una corriente oficial en la costa oeste de EEUU que se ha
definido oficialmente como neopsicodelia, Alien Tango representan a este nuevo
movimiento gracias al líder de la formación Aitite,murciano afincado en Valencia,
multiinstrumentista y melómano que grabó íntegramente el álbum y que se acompaña en
directo por los músicos Alex Escribano, Alex Vidal y Dani Ballesta. Publican su primer
trabajo “Supernatural Mango” a primeros de 2016 recibiendo la expectación de crítica y
público. Presentarán su vinilo en el Record Store Day Murcia.
Cherry
Desde Alhabama de Murcia y concretamente desde su cochera, Cherry es uno de los
artistas más interesantes de nuestra Región. Tras pertenecer a varias bandas, se sumergió
en su trabajo en solitario, luchando por la libertad artística y la escasez de medios como
principal vía de composición. Con cinco discos a sus espaldas, todos los directos de Cherry
son distintos. Su último largo “Frío y Calor” 2014 es la última muestra física de su
eclecticismo. Un hombre contra el mundo.
DJs
En esta cuarta edición seguimos apostando por los DJs en formato vinilo como un
homenaje al formato físico insignia. Este año contaremos con cuatro pinchadiscos que
serán los encargados de poner música en la feria y de representar distintos géneros
musicales, haciendo del evento un lugar para oídos libres.
Van de Ramah
Agrupación musical dedicada a la música jamaicana afincada en murcia lleva 10 años
repartiendo reggae music a lo largo y ancho del país, dos maquetas y un álbum y
muchísimas sesiones en diferentes espacios de la ciudad presentarán una selección
especial en 7" para el Record store day con un recorrido por la música jamaicana desde sus
orígenes a la actualidad.
Mr.Spinalzo
Mister Spinalzo te invita a un viaje ecléctico y exótico por los archivos musicales de los 60 y
70, con un enfoque especial sobre África, Brasil o Haití y el pop de Irán, sin olvidar Europa o
EEUU. Una sesión que te llevará por un túnel espaciotemporal hacia estos grooves
irresistibles!
Jergas
DJ Jergas es un joven Dj, melómano y consumidor de música en vinilo. Empapado por la
cultura HipHop y sus raíces, en su sesión en el Record Store Day estará girando discos
con cortes nuevos y clásicos que harán disfrutar y mover el cuello a los amantes del género.
Ryansoulman
Inglés afincado en Murcia amante de la música desde muy pequeño,su pasión por la música
negra empezó con Tamla Motown. Ha seguido fiel a sus raíces durante estos años y en el
Record Store Day podéis esperar un set de canciones desde jamaicano hasta funk y soul,
que son sus estilos preferidos.
